Registered counsellor with the Allied Health Professions Council (ASCHP). Currently completing a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences in Psychology and Counselling at SACAP, with Honours planned for 2027. I integrate CBT, EMDR-informed bilateral techniques, and somatic regulation with a deep understanding of female physiology, hormonal health, and metabolic function. I am not a medical doctor. I am something rarer - a practitioner who has lived the depletion she teaches recovery from, and built an evidence-informed methodology around what actually works.
I spent years being the most capable-looking dysregulated woman in every room. High-functioning. Productive. Holding everything together - professionally, financially, personally. And underneath all of it: a nervous system running on cortisol and adrenaline, a body sending signals I had no language for, and a life that looked fine from the outside while I was quietly disappearing inside it.
I went through burnout. I recovered from alcohol misuse. I left a relationship that was destroying my nervous system one cortisol event at a time. I rebuilt my finances, my identity, and my sense of self from the ground up - alone, deliberately, and without falling apart.
What saved me was not a therapist, a supplement, or a 30-day cleanse. It was understanding the mechanism. Learning what chronic stress actually does to a female body - to hormones, to metabolism, to emotional regulation, to sleep, to the gut, to the brain. Learning that my exhaustion was biological depletion, not weakness. That my reactivity was a nervous system pattern, not a personality flaw. That my body was not working against me - it was working without the right inputs.
I am now a stronger, calmer, and more present woman than I have ever been. I strength train. I track my metabolic data with a CGM. I study psychology. I sleep. I have boundaries that are physiological rather than aspirational. I am living proof that regulation is not a destination - it is a daily practice that compounds.
I built this methodology because I needed it and it didn't exist. Everything I teach, I have lived first.
